ACPMH is an internationally recognised leader in the field of posttraumatic mental health, and our trainers are expert trauma clinicians. These interactive and skills-based workshops are for experienced practitioners working with children, adolescents and adults. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about and practice core skills involved in providing effective interventions for posttraumatic mental health problems arising from single and repeated trauma. The training experience is enhanced by the use of video clips of expert demonstrations. A comprehensive package of practitioner tools and client handouts is provided. The training meets requirements for ‘active’ CPD.
Trauma-focussed Therapy - Working with Adults
The Trauma-focussed Therapy - Working with Adults workshop is designed to provide participants with skills training on conducting effective interventions for posttraumatic mental health problems. Workshop facilitators are drawn from our team of expert trainers (see below).

Trauma-focussed Therapy - Working with Children and Adolescents
This interactive and skills-based workshop has been developed by ACPMH in collaboration with Australia’s leading experts in the field of child trauma, and is designed for experienced practitioners working with children and adolescents. It is assumed that all participants will have a strong background in assessment, case formulation and treatment planning with children and adolescents. Workshop facilitators are drawn from our team of expert trainers (see below).
